lrf
Does anyone know how to create a plan and elevation views of a 3D model on a sheet layer that look as though they are 2D drawings? That is, in hidden line style? The file I'm working on is attached. Leila Quote Link to comment
Horst M.
Hallo Leila, I did some small edits on your File. You already had a Viewport on a sheet layer. so I just copied it a couple of times and gave the Copies different Views and Render settings. You could also add some Section Vewports if you like. I'm not so shure, about the Render possibilities of Fundamentals, but The Line Render modes and Open GL should be part of your Sofware. (hopefully) During editting I've recogniced, that your Extrudes had no fills. and that you were using open polylines for the 2d Profiles of the Extrudes The Problem with open Polygons is, that you can't give them a fill, so when you render these object in Open GL there are just Lines, like in Wireframe, and the surfaces, are not shown. I've modfied these open Polylines to closed Polygons using the Compose Command. Enjoy. Edited April 9, 2010 by Horst M. Quote Link to comment
