Clarabirch
I have accidentally turned my layer from 2d into 3d mode (3d cube symbol appears next to layer name in toolbar and walls drawn in plan have turned into 3d wireframes) Tried undo function but it doesn't go back far enough. Any ideas how to revert layer back to 2d? Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Hit the "0" key in the numeric keypad. That's probably how it got to a 3D view. 1 is left isometric view, 2 is front view, 3 is right isometric view, 4 is left view.... OR View > Standard Views > Top/Plan OR Command-5 (on a Mac - probably Control 5 on a PC) OR There is a pulldown in the top right of the main window that has the list of standard views. hth michaelk Quote Link to comment
Clarabirch
A simple click and it's all sorted - thanks so much! Switched back to Top/Plan in Standard Views. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
There was a thread about this a while back. Turns out there are lots of tools and keyboard shortcuts (in addition to the numeric keypad) that will pop the drawing into 3D: http://techboard.nemetschek.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=27075&Number=131465#Post131465 hth michaelk Quote Link to comment
