cbaarch1
When moving an object with the move by point command vectorworks will sometimes automatically select the dimmensions on my drawing. This results in my dimensions being moved/duplicated/deleted(whatever commands I used on the original object). And I don't notice this until I zoom into the area that had the dimensions. Shortly after this bug vectorworks may or may not crash, about a 50/50 chance. Any suggestions/fixes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Are the dimensions that are moving Associative Dimensions? Do they have a little red (I think VW2008 they were red) at the ends that "attach" the dimension to the object? If so then they are doing what they are supposed to do and moving with the objects. If you don't want them to move you will need to break the association. I think this was under Modify:Edit Constraints. Select the dimension, run the command and then click the delete all constraints button. Quote Link to comment
cbaarch1
Associative Dimensions are turned off (and have been since the creation of the drawing). Quote Link to comment
