Jackalope
I'm switching to vectorworks after a decade of using autocad. I did not see any nexera fixtures in the wybron folder. Do they exist? If a symbol exists, how do I know whether or not the symbol is more than just an outline of the fixure (in other words would like to use the 3d aspect of spotlight with my instrument choices) Thanks, Quote Link to comment
michaelk
The nexera fixtures are not in the library yet. But I bet Steve Shelley has them: http://www.fieldtemplate.com/ If not, it's pretty easy to make your own fixtures. ALL fixtures in the library are hybrid fixtures. They are both 2D and 3D. hth michaelk Quote Link to comment
Jackalope
Thanks for the quick reply! If I make them myself, How do I get the photometrics...how can I get the beam of light to act like a nexera? Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Create a hybrid symbol. Attach the instrument record format. Enter the information for beam and field angles, candela, weight, etc.... I think there is a knowledge base article about it... michaelk Quote Link to comment
