td4stage
I am wondering if anybody else would find useful the ability to dock the attributes palette to the top of the screen? Who's with me!?! Quote Link to comment
0 Benson Shaw
Elaborate, please. Are you suggesting making it a pulldown menu? In the Mac version, it has a skinny option (toggle with green button) and a window shade option (yellow button). All VW palettes snap to corners/edges of adjacent palettes or to any location on system menu bar. Why dock it? I am used to having it under the basic tool set, but sometimes move it onto the drawing area for shorter mousing if cluster of items needs attribute edits. I want an option to put a user selection of palettes on a 3d carousel so they don't take up screen at drawing edges. Spin with mouse or key to find/expand needed item, hot key/button to show/hide. Or just a key/button to show/hide all palettes in current setup -B Quote Link to comment
0 AndiACD
Benson, I could probably live with both of your suggestions. Carousel is quite a nice idea, if the option to detach them and pin them to your favourite spot on the screen as and when. . . . . Without having to "Drag" them to their position every time!
