kerpez
Is there a zoom out? used to be the X key...also Is there a setting adjustment to yield a good "snapping to a line", used to be able to snap anywhere along a line. just switched from 11 to 2010 Quote Link to comment
joerg
zoom in an zoom out is cmd-1 and cmd-2 but this snapping to a line is not working for me too i can not find a propper tool that it behaves as it did befor, when the curser snapped to"object" and you have been able to place the line where you wanted to. Now it goes all over the place i would be very happy to get the secret trick...! Quote Link to comment
kerpez
Thanks, I'll give that a go.. The snapping to anywhere along a line problem is a drawback, we are drawing very detailed aluminum extrusion profiles that have tolerances down to several thousands of an inch, big problem when you think you're on a line but actually you are not. Ray Libby
SmartCursor Settings>Category: Object>check "Nearest Point on Edge" to snap anywhere on a line. Quote Link to comment
Cadplan Architecture
I didn't know about command 1 & 2, C and V always used to be zoom in/out. C still works in 2009. I think you can set your own hot keys anway you want though. Quote Link to comment
