wildernessbob
can anyone tell me why there are 3D screws (metal and wood), lag bolts, anchor bolts, carriage bolts, but no 3D hex head bolts? seems odd to me. it just doesn't make sense. and why, is there no nuts to go with the carriage bolts in 3D? Benson Shaw
Cannot say why. 2009 at least has a 3d nut PIO. I have not opened my VW2010 yet, but check your workspace editor. There may be more hardware than is in the default palette. There are some 3rd party options, some are free. For example: Bob Wagners PIO 3d fasteners http://www.vectordepot.com/plug-ins/ Ray Libby's Fastener symbols (I forget whether these are 3d) http://www.vectorwiki.org/index.php?title=Symbol_Libraries Hope this helps. -B Quote Link to comment
Bob Holtzmann
They ARE in the workspace editor -- good call. You can find all of the nuts and washers there, imperial and metric, 2D and 3D. Quote Link to comment
