Trouble using the handrail tool

When using the handrail tool, I am given the option to choose between different styles for the top rail, uprights, and intermediate rails. But when I select a style, nothing changes. Any ideas?

Hi Chris

The application of styles is only half the job I'm afraid. This creates classes with the names Style-1 thru Style-15. You now need to edit the classes to add appropriate 2D graphic styles and textures.

And it's not only handrails, but everything else has that odd numbered classes pulldown. If there were some way to assign colors and textures along with the classes, it might make more sense.

I agree it's not pretty! But it is consistent across (most) of the application. So something that uses Style-1 in one object can be given the same texture in another object by applying Style-1 again and so on. There are also Style-Glazing classes which you can use in doors.
