Mark Chevalier Posted October 16, 2001 Share Posted October 16, 2001 I have been naming objects using the top (title) window of the data tab in the object info pallette. This is to allow the object to be "linked" to a worksheet cell to have a list of areas. When I move the named polygon to a different layer the name disappears from the data tab. Is this a bug or supposed to happen? Is there a way I can lock the name? Thanks! Mark Chevalier Quote Link to comment
Guest Posted October 16, 2001 Share Posted October 16, 2001 If you are using cut and paste, i don't think that supports named objects. Instead, try selecting the object, and changing the layer setting for it in the object info palette. Quote Link to comment
