rachel steck
Hello. One of my students is having difficulty snapping to different layers once he has created his saved views. He has both of his class and layer options as show/snap/modify others and he cannot snap or grab anything in a different layer. He is using Spotlight 2010 and a PC. Any advice? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted February 12, 2010 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 12, 2010 Are all the layers the same scale? In order to snap across mutiple layers they must have the same scale. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
All layers must be in Top/Plan view NOT Top view. Quote Link to comment
td4stage
Just a follow up question. Is there some sort of command or tool that would quickly reset all layers to top/plan? Sometimes when I am working on a complicated drawing, I end up with all sorts of layers in different views. A "one-clicker" would be cool! Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted March 12, 2010 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 12, 2010 In 2010 turn on "Unified View" or select "Align Layer Views" Both are available in the "View" menu. Quote Link to comment
