MikeN
I'm unable to rotate all 4 layers of a workgroup reference at the same time. Layer Options are set to show/snap/modify and I've unlocked all. Is there something wrong with me or VW? Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
You should be able to rotate those layers individually in any case. However this is largely irrelevant. Workgroup References are a form of one way communication. The reason referenced layers appear locked, is to dissuade users from making any changes. No changes made to the referenced layer are actually saved. The next time you update the reference, or the program decides to automatically because the modification date of the file has changed, you will loose any changes made in the referenced layers. To do what I think you are intending, create a new layer in the file that you are working, and create a layer link to the referenced layers. You can then safely unlock the layer link and rotate that.
