Honza
Hello, I am new to Vectorworks. I don?t own Renderworks yet. I am garden architect. In my project I am learning to use image props of plants. But without Renderworks I can?t see this image props. Can I render it with other software such as Artlantis or Cinema4D? How? Thanks Quote Link to comment
dr paaj
You can use one of these... But CINEMA 4D has the Mograph module there you can use one tree(3D object), duplicating the object multiple times and the tree will look scaled, rotated and moved with a few mouseclicks. Of course there are a lot 3D tree/plant libraries to buy: like VBvisual, Xfrog and Vray, these are in 3d, Render realistic and also very fast. Quote Link to comment
Honza
Thanks, but can I render the trees and plants that I have like image props in Landmark to render it with Artlantis? Because I have great library of image props trees in Landmark. When I tried to render this, I had only grey croses in Cinema or Artlantis. What am I doing wrong? Wrong settings beside exporting? Any idea? Quote Link to comment
dr paaj
The image props in VW are not compatible with AR and C4D, they are VW objects. Artlantis and CINEMA 4D have their own objects applied with alpha mapping. Quote Link to comment
