Nemetschek North America and Improbability Press, a provider of VectorWorks books and training, announced the release of WorksTutorial Version 9. This is the latest edition in the WorksTutorial Series by Improbability Press. Written in lesson format, this book will assist users that want to familiarize themselves with VectorWorks 9. Janis Kent, AIA, Improbability Press, points out that the WorksTutorial Version 9 assumes that the reader has little or no knowledge of VectorWorks. The lessons begin with the basics and progress up to some of the more advanced features, such as 3D. However, Kent notes that although the book is designed for beginners, "There is plenty of information for the long time user looking for tips and hints with the base program." She also adds that in the new version of the manual, "We have expanded our emphasis on symbols, both on creating, as well as taking advantage of the object browser."
