buildmesomething
I want to plot my drawings, but want the colored lines to print in black. (White lines seem to already print in black). I know how to change the display setting to black and white, but it seems like there should be a way to plot in black and white w/o having to change the display setting back and forth each time... Please help. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Not sure what OS and VW's version you have... If you are on a Mac, just Print to PDF, then Open the PDF in Preview and Save As using the Quartz filter "Gray Tones". I do this all the time for printing at a local repro house and it has worked fine every time Quote Link to comment
buildmesomething
I'm on a Mac. Vectorworks 2010. I will try your method. Thanks! But is this the only way? It still seems like an extra step to me... Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
I can't tell what version of Vectorworks you have, but if you have Vectorworks Architect, Designer and so on, there is a batch print command. that allows you to choose color or b/w. you can choose all the drawings, or just a few. File > Batch Print... Quote Link to comment
sig_eigei
You can also selectively print specific viewports in B/W. Select a viewport and click Advanced Properties in the OIP. There find the option to use (and therefore subsequently print) in B/W. Quote Link to comment
