stella
I am having a strange problem, where a particular object I insert into a drawing (a titleblock) will be visible for a while, then parts of it will mysteriously disappear. They do not just go white. I have tried inserting is a simple cut and paste, as a symbol, or as a collection of objects, and after a few commands, it happens again. Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Quote Link to comment
Guest
Stella, What version of VW are you using? There is a bug in VW9.0.1 which causes text blocks to disappear when the ESC key is used to close the text block after editing. This may be what you are seeing. ------------------ Robert McBride Software Engineer Nemetschek N.A. CipesDesign
I have had similar problems which, in my case, were caused by a CLASS or CLASSES being invisible in the current drawing set-up. If this is your problem the solution is easy: go to the class set-up and make all classes visible, or find the object and put into a visible class. PLC Mac G4 Quote Link to comment
stella
Thanks! I am using 8.5, I think. I believe I have solved the problem - the drawing I was taking the objects from had put some of the objects into a different class, which disappeared when I took it into a new drawing. Having put all the original objects into the same class, they all seem to stay put in the new drawing. Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
No problem! Remember that certain Plug-ins create their own class or classes on creation! PLC Quote Link to comment
