Clerestory Corner Window

I have a corner window above a door that I would like the indicate as a clerestory window so that it is dotted above. However, when I select the clerestory option, the window moves outside of the wall in the opposite direction. I don't know how to explain it better than that.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is it is bug or is there a way to get it back to where it should be?
