jeremyb
I have used the Stake Object tool to mark level data points on a survey. I now want to be able to view these 'side-on' as a section showing the various levels in this (sloping) garden. Surely this is possible, but I can't for the life of me find out how to do it. I am a relative beginner, now using VW2010 (no little investment) and I just wish thyat it was a bit more intuitive and easy to use. Edited December 2, 2009 by jeremyb Quote Link to comment
IanH
You need to create a DTM (create site model) from the stake objects to create a surface. You can then view this in 3D and create a section viewport from the DTM. Quote Link to comment
jeremyb
Thanks for this, Ian. However my DTM views as a series of contour lines joining only some of the stake objectsin 2D, but is an unreadable series of vertical lines in 3D, I realise that I am doing something, probably a lot, wrong, so any more help much appreciated!
