JSiegel
Hello All, I have constructed the 3D model of the building and need to know, what is the best way to show a cantilevered 2nd floor as "dashed lines above" without showing the entire 2nd floor plan? Is there a better way than simply tracing the portions that are cantilvered/setting the line type to dashed/ & creating these items as a class on the 1st floor plan? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
I usually trace it (from the design layer) then cut and paste the traced poly onto the VP Annotations of the appropriate VP(s). Yes, this means that changes to the design require changes to the annotations, but hey, it's only work, right? Quote Link to comment
JSiegel
Peter, that's what I figured. I just leave it in a 2D class on the design layer that I turn on or off as needed. Have a great Holiday! J Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Yes, that works really well! Happy Holiday to you too! Quote Link to comment
