Kevin McAllister
I watched a demo for Interior CAD (which is built on Vectorworks) and there was a navigation palette in the bottom corner of the screen. I have included an image here. Does anyone know if this is a feature of Interior CAD exclusively or if its someone else's add on? Thanks, Kevin Quote Link to comment
MullinRJ
That's not a standard VW palette. Raymond Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Kevin, it is an InteriorCAD palette. Very useful on laptops where you don't have a numeric keypad. When I was back on Vw 12 I downloaded a demo version of InteriorCAD and discoverd how great it was. That version also had a Rendering palette. I ended up combining the two into one palette. Gytis
Sadly, the rendering palette was removed from the program in VWinteriorcad 2009. Quote Link to comment
Hans Martin Kern
Would there be substantial interest in us releasing the "Views" and "Rendering" palettes from interiorcad / interior xs to the Vectorworks community? Tobias
Yes. The lack of number keypad on my laptop drives me nuts, mostly for views in VW. I would be interested in a view and render palette. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
I would definitely be interested in an add on like that. I'm going to have to find time to play with a demo version of InteriorCAD to see what other interface tweaks it incorporates. Their literature concentrates on the cabinet aspect which looks very powerful, but is definitely aimed at a specialty market. I couldn't find any information on the more general improvements it brings to the table. Thanks to all who responded. Kevin Quote Link to comment
bcd
I use an external numerical keypad - works well. Quote Link to comment
