MikeB
Extrude along path dosen't exist in 8.5.2 but you can get Julian Carrs add-on with includes this. It does exist in 9.0.1 but I've had limited sucess with it. Julians tool is much more reliable. Go to the 3rd part add on section of the NNA site to find a link to Julian. MikeB
Oh, you could also make a series of simple extrudes and sweeps to make you various elements. Kind of like a kit of parts, that is if the shapes aren't too complex. Quote Link to comment
Matthew Giampapa
Dave, We don?t officially support this type of an operation, but we do provide the tools to do so. The best approach I can think of would be to model the different sections of pipe and joints you will be using in the final product. This way you can create symbols for each piece and assemble them like virtual legos. In VectorWorks 9, there is the ability to define a path for the pipe in 3D space, and then extrude the profile of the pipe along the path. There is a 3rd party tool mentioned above which has similar functionality for VectorWorks 8.
