lalcaraz
I am attempting to export a file from VW to LW and then alter the LW file and export it back to VW. I was successfully able to go from VW to LW and then input Channel, Dimmer, Color and Template into LW and then re-export it back to VW. When I import into VW, it does fine until the end where it tells me that some units were not updated and are selected. The problem is that all units in the plot are selected and none have been updated. I tried to do the export again from VW but now I have double the amount of lights in my plot. The existing ones that I can see and the ones that were imported. How do I get rid of the duplicates and how do I successfully re-import all of the LW information? Thank you Lonnie Alcaraz Quote Link to comment
kacey1
I am going to make the assumption that you are using SpotLight. Do NOT import your first record as the manual tells you to. This is an error and will be fixed for the next release. You may find the SpotLight forum helpful; there is a more detailed post on the importing error. lalcaraz
Thank you for the info. I will try it but 1st I need to get rid of the duplicates that do not appear anywhere except the paperwork and import/exports. I have tried to go into VW paperwork and delete them but since they are not applied to specific instruments, they do not appear to want to delete. Any suggestions?
