FRED JOHNSON
Is it possible to import a jpeg digital photo of carpet into renderworks and use it as a flooring material in a room rendering. If so, exactly how - new to renderworks. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
You don't import the image into Vectorworks, you create a texture using the image. In the resource browser you will see two small triangles on the upper right, click on the bottom one. Choose New Resource in (file name)>Renderworks Texture... This will bring up the Edit Texture dialog box. Name your texture then in the Color: pull down menu choose Image Color* and you will get a dialog box to choose the image. Quote Link to comment
FRED JOHNSON
Thanks Ray, I'll give it a try, sort of a one time thing. Quote Link to comment
bcd
... then when you have your texture you will need an object (floor) to apply it to. You can create a polygon & extrude it a little then from the Resource Browser drag and drop the texture onto it. Be sure your polygon has a fill otherwise the texture won't be visible when you render the model. Quote Link to comment
