leadline
Does anyone know how to turn off the boxes that pop up when I hover over an object or a line? For instance, if I try to click on the end of a line a box pops up that says "Endpoint". It's very distracting. Quote Link to comment
Dieter @ DWorks
You can turn this of in the VW preferences. You can double-click the constraints pallete to bring up the preferences. Then go to the general tab. Quote Link to comment
leadline
When I double click on the constraints pallete it docks it or undocks it. No options appear. I've looked through VW preferences, but can't find it. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Double click on any of the constraints buttons, not the palette. Quote Link to comment
Benson Shaw
Dbl Click on one of the constraints boxes to open the pref dialog box - it contains prefs all the constraints no matter which constraint you dbl clicked. Sounds like you were dbl clicking the palette's top bar which minimizes the palette. -B Quote Link to comment
leadline
GREAT! Thank you, that worked perfectly. Quote Link to comment
Bob Holtzmann
Thanks to the new tick marks that appear at the endpoints, midpoints, etc., the worded Smart Cues have become superfluous, so that turning them off doesn't affect the workflow. Great tip for cleaning up the drawing window! Quote Link to comment
