Jules2009
Hi guys Just need to know how to slope a hardscape such as a pathway? I wish there was an easy way to do it as there is with the road tool via the object info pallete using the rise value. But it doesn't seem to be case. Thanks Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
This can be tricky, but with some tinkering it is usually doable. One of the following usually works for me: 1) Use a PAD to define the path (pads can have slope), then use a TEXTURE BED over the path with the desired texture applied. 2) Use a PAD for the path as above, and then use a ROOF FACE with texture applied for the actual path. 3) Use a NURBS ROAD as the path, with texture applied. HTH's. Quote Link to comment
Jules2009
Thanks Peter I was kind of hoping there would be another way of using the hardscape tool that i wasnt aware of. If i use textures instead of the hardscape is there any way i can match the pattern on the surface of my hardscape to the texture? Thanks Quote Link to comment
