Columbia, Maryland (October 23, 2009) ? Nemetschek North America announced today that PanzerCAD has upgraded its CameraMatch plug-in to be compatible with the Vectorworks? 2010 line of products. This tool allows Vectorworks software users to quickly and accurately align a 3D view to an existing photograph.

?In CameraMatch 2010, the control line interface has been reworked to give greater flexibility and feedback,? explains Matt Panzer, president of PanzerCAD Services, Inc. ?While the new control lines work very much like the old ones, they behave more predictably and allow for more unusual vanish point locations. Better feedback is also given to the control lines by the addition of extension lines radiating from the vanish point.?

Other features in CameraMatch 2010 include a streamlined Tune View dialog with the addition of a ?live slider? which allows view tuning in real time. The user will be able to tune faster and more intuitively. The CameraMatch Mask object has also been improved to accept surface commands such as ?Add Surface,? ?Subtract Surface,? and ?Intersect Surface.?

The CameraMatch plug-in can be purchased from www.panzercad.com for $100. For CameraMatch 2009 users, the upgrade fee is $40. CameraMatch 2010 is free for students and teachers using the 2010 educational version of Vectorworks software. CameraMatch 2010 will also be available soon in the localized Italian and German versions.

Located in the Baltimore/Annapolis area of Maryland, PanzerCAD has developed

plug-ins for Vectorworks software since 1995 and provided architectural design/presentation services since 1994.
