sfatelier
I seem to have lost the option of editing in multiple layers. There is no problem doing this with classes. Is there an option command that will restore this? Thanks Vectorworks 2009 Architect/Renderworks Mac 10.5 Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
This option is present in VW2009 (and all other versions). Make sure the layers are at the same scale and in the same view. I don't remember if it was standard in the workspace or not, but try the Align Layer Views command (View menu) if you have it. Top/Plan is the best for working across layers. Quote Link to comment
sfatelier
Thanks, I tried that (aligned views, top/plan view) and I'm still having the same problem. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
The layers also have to be at the same scale. Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Make sure the layers are all in Top/Plan NOT Top. Quote Link to comment
gScott
and added to all of the above, "stacked layers" must be OFF... Quote Link to comment
sfatelier
Thanks all, especially Gideon. It was the "stacked layers" that disabled the command. Quote Link to comment
