We have many seats of VW2009 Fundamentals, but only 2 of Renderworks, and I want to swap serial / versions between two of my users. Is there a simple way to swap versions without uninstalling / re-installing on two computers? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 You should be able to do an install of VW/RW on one of the machines that has only Fundamentals as none of the RW stuff was installed originally. For the machine that already has RW, you should be able to go into the preferences and delete the existing RW serial number and enter the base VW serial number and be ready to go. The extra RW stuff will still be installed, but the user won't be able to access it. You might also want to edit the workspace so he/she can't see all of the stuff they no longer has access to.
