Jim Smith
Some of our colleagues using ACad have symbols for Existing Doors To Remain where the door swing is indicated by a straight line rather than an arch. I can do this by Creating a Symbol, or Undoing a Door PIO. My question is: can the arch that represents a door swing be replaced by a straight line within the Door PIO? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Not likely.... But I'm not 100% certain. I would guess that Pat might know... What do you think Pat? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
I don't think there is any setting that a user (or even a programmer) can access to do this. I would submit it on the Wish List so it might be available in a future version. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Judah Warshaw Posted September 10, 2009 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 10, 2009 To verify: Pat is correct. The swing is represented by an arc only. There is no current setting to change this. Quote Link to comment
Jim Smith
Thanks all, I shall just make symbols to illustrate this concept. Quote Link to comment
Kool Aid
Even in my Door PIO, this particular (& idiosyncratic, if I may say so) option is not available, but by default, existing doors are not tagged. They can be, though. This question of yours, Jim, is most pertinent! I think I need to review my Door tool, in order to have even more explicit and unambigious distinction between existing and new ones. Quote Link to comment
