Nicholas P Kelly
My apologies for what is probably a very obvious question but I have gone through the docs I have and cannot find the commands available to create a circle in VectorScript. I am using VW Architect 12.5 Any help much appreciated, Nick Quote Link to comment
Guest Frank Brault
Hi Nick, The Oval procedure creates a circle if you set the width and height equal. It is simpler to use but has less control than the newer OvalN procedure. The Oval procedure still works in 12 and all later Vectorworks versions. hth, Quote Link to comment
Nicholas P Kelly
Thank you Frank, Are there some docs available that I can refer to for the parameters requires by the Oval procedure? Like the Java API docs for Java. Thank you, Nick Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Go to the Vectorworks Help. Select Additional Documentation in the left column then VectorScript Function Reference in the right column. There is also an on-line version available at http://developer.vectorworks.net/index.php?title=VS:Function_Reference Also, don't forget to read the VectorScript Language Guide for basic information on the Pascal like nature of the language. It is in the left column of the Vectorworks Help. Quote Link to comment

JBenghiat
Back to the original question... In VW a circle is actually a 360-deg arc. In addition to the oval option, consult the above resources for ArcByCenter. -Josh Quote Link to comment
