brudgers
File -> Export --> Vectorscript does not appear export anything from comPalnode(57). I was looking for a way to export scripts from a vectorworks drawing, but couldn't find one better than copy and paste from the script editor. Is there one built in to Vectorworks? Kool Aid
A pallet (pronounced /ˈp?lɨt/) (sometimes called a skid) is a flat transport structure that supports goods in a stable fashion while being lifted by a forklift, pallet jack, front loader or other jacking device. A pallet is the structural foundation of a unit load which allows handling and storage efficiencies. Goods or shipping containers are often placed on a pallet secured with strapping, stretch wrap or shrink wrap and shipped. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pallet Quote Link to comment
brudgers
I'm talking about the one that supports vectorscripts. New flavor. Edited August 20, 2009 by brudgers Quote Link to comment
Kool Aid
Tsk tsk. I put a spell on you. Grammar, my young friend, is another thing altogether. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
It's not the solution you are looking for, but I use a dedicated text editor for my scripts (BBEdit) and save my scripts as text documents. That allows me to open several scripts, copy and paste between and print copies for manuals and stuff. New flavor 2. Quote Link to comment
brudgers
Jonathan, I save my scripts as external documents as well. However, in the test-debug cycle I stack them on the pallet. It would be nice to finish debugging within vectorworks and then saving the script out. Under windows the script editor does not offer an export feature. The export option from the resource browser will only pace it another vectorworks drawing. And File->Export-->Vectorscript exports everything but the scripts. Famous Eagle Scout that start with G. Kool Aid
Under windows the script editor does not offer an export feature. I'm sure there are several fine Windows-only CAD-programs within your price range, that allow saving pallets, perhaps even via OLE. Quote Link to comment
brudgers
Alas they're Kool-Aid free, and therefor charge a premium. Quote Link to comment
