Pad Site Modifier Color

Recommended Posts

Guest Frank Brault

Hi David,

I know of no way to change the color of a Pad. But it's visibility is controlled by the Site-DTM-Modifier class, so you can at least shut it off for rendering. Be sure to turn it back on for Site Model calculations!

Hello everyone.
any updates on that matter?

I have never needed/wanted to change the colour of Site Modifiers... I just have the Site-DTM-Modifier class invisible by default plus I have my modifiers on a dedicated layer which is also invisible by default. I create a site modifiers Saved View to easily view them when I want to work on them. Ive never had them inadvertently appear in VPs. What is the issue you're having?

There's also a hide modifiers command in the View menu.

Hallo Tom, thanks for your reply.

i want to show the border of the site modifier in the plan in the layout, and they show in the classic red color, which is very strong graphically for presentation.

the alternative is to redraw them as polylines, but i thought maybe there is a way to change their color withour redrawing them.

Have you checked that the red isn't assigned by the site modifier class...? Never looked myself + not at computer now. The original post was quite old so possible things are different now

Nope that won't work will it given Grade Limits use the same class + have different attributes. Seems you can control the line thickness by class but nothing else. But what you could do is apply a Data Vis to the objects on your site modifier layer in the viewport + change the line colour that way (have just tested + works). So there is a way to change the line colour without redrawing them!
