Markus Barrera-Kolb
Does anyone know whether it's possible to use a gapped section line but not have that annoying center section show up in the line? I'd like to just have a segment of line at each marker, without the little segment of line that will just end up looking lost in the middle of the floor plan. For the time being, I'm hiding it with a filled polygon with the lineweight set to zero, but it sure would be nice if I didn't have to resort to such a silly workaround. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
As of VW2009 SP4, this bug has been squashed. Quote Link to comment
Markus Barrera-Kolb
Alright! Now we just need some profitable projects to roll in, i.e. for the darn economy to pick up again, and then we can upgrade! Of course, by then NNA will be on 2010...or higher?... Thanks Jeffrey -- Cheers, Markus Quote Link to comment
RubenH
I've never seen it like a bug. Edited July 9, 2009 by Mr. Gog Quote Link to comment
Markus Barrera-Kolb
Well, we've finally upgraded to WV Arch 2010 (SP2), and the gapped line still has a short segment in the middle, contrary to Jeffrey's statement. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? It shows up in a file I've imported from 2008, but if I create a new section cut in a 2010 file I've started from scratch the behaviour is exactly the same. Hmmm... mike m oz
The 2D 'Section-Elevation Marker' from the Annotation toolset does not have a mid line portion when the 'Use Gapped Line' option is selected (a change implemented in Vw 2009 SP4). That change didn't extend to the 'Section Line' marker placed by Section Viewports. Quote Link to comment
Markus Barrera-Kolb
Hmm, I wonder why they decided the section viewport marker didn't need to be fixed... Is there a way to tie the 2D marker from the anno toolset to a section viewport? Quote Link to comment
