AGPT
Hi, We've got some LiDAR data on a 2 metre interval grid covering approx 1.5 by 1 kmsq. I realise this is a lot of data but am having real trouble handling the data either as .xyz or as DXF points - any other tips on formats to make this manageable? Thanks Andy Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
less than 10k data points makes it workable Quote Link to comment
AGPT
Pity - that means 200 by 200 metres of data. We have some LiDAR at 25cm - we'd thus only be able to handle 25 by 25 metres. No way of converting to something else then bringing in the data? Thanks Andy Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Try>Excel>parse data @10,000 point intervals>copy>export to tab>import VW1... then repeat for VW2.... Finally, use WGR to compile the data into a master. Quote Link to comment
