Heather S
Hey all It seems as if my angle constraint tool is on the fritz, but I am sure its just operator error. The angle constraint will only allow me to draw a line at 30, 45, horiz, or vert. I have tried to shut the constraint off, but still acts like it is on. Is there a setting I am missing or...? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
HOUCAD
I have noticed the same thing occasionally but I just opened a new file and tested it out and it is working properly for me right now. It happened yesterday on another drawing and on another machine. I think it fixed itself when I canceled out of what I was doing and changed tools.Today I can't duplicate the problem. islandmon
We all must be careful about generating procedural command 'loops' . In the olde days this was not so much of an issue but now with speedier inputs >processor cycles it is common to stack multiple commands without knowing it. Some Users have a bad habit of clicking all over the place .. not realizing the implications. This holds true for every application not just VW. When things go wrong .. patience is often the best option. You can use Activity Monitor to watch the ebb & flow of the processor(s) as you work. Noting your RAM specs ... adding 2Gb more RAM will provide significant VW performance improvements. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
If you are using the line tool, is it set to the constrained mode(big plus sign) or the unconstrained (diagonal line) mode in the mode bar? It should be set to unconstrained. Quote Link to comment
