Rosetter
Hi - I have done a design using some landscape areas for my perennials and they do not show up on my plant list. Is there a way to have them show up as perennials on the plant list? I did assign a specific perennial from my database when I created the areas. Thanks for any help Quote Link to comment
J. Wallace
Did you import any symbols ??? I have found when I import symbols from another drawing, via the resource pallet, that occasionally they do not appear on the plant list. Quote Link to comment
Rosetter
I did not import a symbols for the landscape areas, what I did was indicate plant types in the landscape area preferences. If you could let me know if I should be doing something different I'd appreciate it. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Eric Gilbey, PLA Posted June 1, 2009 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 1, 2009 (edited) I did not have the import problem that Jamie mentioned after testing the import method. But I do know that after producing a plan, if you purge the file, it will take the plants out of your landscape area, if they also do not exist in the plan, other than in the landscape area. Could this have been the case? My thinking is that perhaps, somehow, the plant definition has been taken out of the resources, and therefor it doesn't recognize the plan as having it in there.
