jcat
Cannot render the drawing (I'm still learning, so please bear with me...) I have built by model by importing a plan from AutoCAD into Vectorworks. It's mainly constructed from simple cubes, so I used the rectangle tool and extruded the rectangles. Now finished, I'm trying to render, but all render options are unavailable (greyed out). Only ones available are sketch and wireframe when in the sheet layer. When in the design layer I can select Open GL etc, but the drawing doesn't alter - it remains wireframe. Any ideas? Many thanks jcat Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Could you please post your OS and VW's Version info? These might provide helpful clues. Quote Link to comment

Gytis
Do you have the optional Renderworks module? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Check the Background Render mode in the viewport. In the design layer, make sure that the objects are set to have a fill in the attributes pallette. Quote Link to comment
BrendanFella
Do you have the optional Renderworks module? If the answer to above is YES.... I do this all the time w no problems... This may sound stupid but...Make sure are in "Renderworks" mode. Click on "Fast Renderworks" or "Final Renderworks" in "Current Render Mode Options" Quote Link to comment

I think what Peter means is to put this info in yur signature block. This will save you typing it in every time and it will also be on every post automatically. Quote Link to comment
