I am trying to export to DXF ASCII format so that I can import into a different package - Vedute as included with Piranesi.
When I export the DXF, some objects disappear. What is not showing in 3D are walls, doors and windows created with the wall, door and window tools.
This appears to be an export problem rather than inport problem as importing back into Vectorworks gives me the same problem.
I have tried most of the options. Export solids as ACIS gives an improvement in Vedute, but im still missing the walls, doors and windows. Tried other version options, appear all the be the same.
But at a loss why some objects in the model appear not to be exporting with 3D info.
In the mean time, I can export as 3DS, but its not ideal as I am writing a Piranesi tutorial and was going to use DXF as the format of choice - other than directly exporting to Piranesi if you have Renderworks.
