MattG Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 I want to make a script kinda like spotlight that will create a tool much like it does in spotlight. Where I take an active symbol that has a certain type of record associated with it and I can have it appear in as a thing in the object info pallet that thing would also have drop downs with only 3 or 4 choices in each field. Pat Stanford Posted April 24, 2009 Share Posted April 24, 2009 It depends on if you have ever done any programming before. Go to the Vectorworks Help and check out the Vectorscript Language Guide. Read the sections on Plug-in Objects. If that makes any sense to you, then it is probably feasible to do what you are asking. If the Language Guide just makes your eyes glaze over, you might be better off trying to find someone to help you do what you need. Quote Link to comment
