Nurbs Surface to Curve?

I am somewhat of a novice in the nurbs forum. I typically only use for lofting purposes. I will typically take nurbs curves and loft them without rails.

Now I have some nurbs surfaces and I am wanting to loft them but I cannot. Is there an operation that lets me convert them to curves? Or can I somehow loft the surfaces?

A loft creates a surface from curves, not from surfaces, so it is unclear what you are trying to do.

If you need to extract some NURBS curves, say the edges, from an existing surface to use for a new loft, use the Extract tool in the 3d modeling toolset. Use it in Extract Curves Mode.

If this does not help, post a file or image, or try to explain more what you are trying to do.

Yeah that is exactly what I was hoping for. I just am fairly unfamiliar with a lot of the 3d tool sets and was not sure how to "extract" the curves from a surface.
