boxjoint
Over the years, I have accumulated a bunch of bookmarks in my browser for specific pages in the forum that address issues on a variety of topics. These pages provide answers that I may need on a recurring basis. I have just noticed that these bookmarks no longer work. They all seem to take me to the Forums page where all the forums are listed, rather than the specific page that was bookmarked. In addition, the ability to reach individual pages from a google search does not seem to work either. Specifically, pages that are not very recent. Has anyone else noticed this behavior? rkraybill
I haven't, but it sounds like there has been some reorganization in the forum that is making your bookmarks obsolete. The addresses to these specific pages have changed. Given the ever-changing face of a forum, this may happen occasionally. I would recommend saving important discussions as a "Web Archive" to your hard drive. Then you can keep them where you want them - no one else besides you can change the address again. Christiaan
The other thing you can do is bookmark them within the forum's own bookmarking system. Click on Topic Options (upper left) while in the thread you want to bookmark and choose "Add Topic to your Watched Topics." Then you can go to "My Stuff," choose "Watch Lists" and click on the Watched Topics tab. Quote Link to comment
