Printing A0

Question

vectorworks 12.5. When i export A3 as pdf the quality is usually ok. however to export A0 the quality of curved lines print completely crooked etc and unacceptable quality.Does anyone else have this problem?

so i print as pdf...however it prints in 16 pages instead of 1 page despite the page setup being set to A0. Is this because i only have an A3 printer driver setup on my computer (i save as pdf and print in a shop etc)not an A0?

thanks so much....hope you can help my nightmare :)

Have you tried the Export to PDF option from the File: Export menu?

The other option is to install a printer driver for a large printer (maybe the HP Designjet 700 or 800) and use that to do your page setups when you want to print to a large paper size PDF.

Go to Document Preferences, Resolution tab and set the PDF Export and Printing DPI to something much higher than the 72 dpi default. I would start with 300 and then try higher and lower and see what gives you a decent tradeoff in quality and speed.
