higgins
Hi! How do you import raster images in scale? Say, I have an aerial photograph and I know it's scale is 1:1136. How can I accurately get it into my .vwx file in scale? VW2008, Windows XP Quote Link to comment
Ray Libby
Did you try creating a layer at 1:1136 scale and import it? Not sure if it will work, but worth a try. Quote Link to comment
ionw
I have had luck importing the raster image into a 1:1 layer and then making a layer above that at the scale of the image, 1:1136 in your case, and then measuring a known distance. Almost always this gives me what I am after. The issue of course is if you want to draw at a different scale, but that is what the Object scale tool is for I suppose. HTH, Ion Quote Link to comment
higgins
I'm amazed, but the first method works! How the heck does it work that out on a plain .png raster? I've no idea, but it's awesome! =D The second method didn't work for me though. Quote Link to comment
