VincentCuclair
I receive updated construction drawings in dwg regularly, to use them as a trace reference i import them into their own file in VW with a specific name, i then create a referenced layer viewport on an empty layer with them in my own project, this enables me to update the external file regularly while keeping all the settings i have in my own file (and keeping my file much smaller with less classes). Problem is when i zoom in closer than say 1000% while in my active layer and the referenced layer greyed (or lately showing but at 10% opacity which i find gives better graphics) the referenced layer disappears, i can still find snap points but don't see the lines? Any ideas, is the referenced file too large? This doesn't happen in other files with the same setup?! Edited March 22, 2009 by Vincent Cuclair Quote Link to comment
VincentCuclair
I might add that with the referenced viewport layer active i can zoom past 2500000% without problems?! Quote Link to comment
Keith W
What kind of file were you referencing? I think I saw similar behavior with a pdf, though in that case I'd actually imported it. Keith Quote Link to comment
