I use the space tool for displaying the name and the area of a room. I do not use it to have a fill for the floor of the room because I want the name on top of other stuff.
So I uncheck the 'Show Area' option and just let it adapt whit the butten when the walls change.
In VW2009, the options 'Show Area' is linked in a strange way, so that I can only use the Redraw/Recalculate butten whan Show Area is checked. And this is not the behavior we want because we don't want the fill and border to shown on the plans.
