Objects disappearing when zooming in

I had some trouble with zooming in, layers disappeared making it impossible to work copying the file to an other machine and recopying to original machine solved the problem but can anyone tell me why?thanks

Do you mean you zoom in and things disappear? But you can still snap to them?

I've had that problem, too. It seems to be a redraw issue for me. I now automatically hit left arrow - right arrow. The first arrow makes it redraw correctly after it moves the drawing to the left and the second arrow puts the drawing back where you want it.

On a similar subject:

I also have weird behavior with command-1 and command-2.

Command-1 first zooms out and then in.

Command-2 first zooms in and then out.

Both are pretty violent first moves and then less violent second moves.
