I have Vectorworks 2008 (13.0.0) Educational Version running on Mac OS 10.5.6.
Whenever I try to export a DXF/DWG file, it first opens a window where I can choose
both what to name the file and where to place it. However it ignores this action
and chooses and arbitrary name and saves it to the Vectorworks 2008 folder in my Applications in a folder called "contents". Not all all where I wanted it to go. All attempts to locate this folder, either by
Spotlight or by searching manually have left me empty handed. I've tried this 10 or so times and each time, no matter what I name the file, a prompt window asks if I want to replace the existing file. Also is it possible that I can download recent updates to my program if I am using an educational version?
