Siradrad
What exactly does this error mean? I am trying to layout a structural steel plan and set FTG sizes in the column properties menu, but when I set it to structural only and try to enter steel shape and base sizes, I get a message saying "unknown container type cannot set classes? Siradrad
I think you are right, I went to my structural shapes file in my libraries and the classes are all set to none. I suppose this is ok, But does it effect the record format, when I try to produce a worksheet that lists an appropriate column ftg and steel shape data? I guess my larger question is does some one have a best practices work flow for producing a Structural plan and then linking all the information to a worksheet? Including FTG's, colums, girders and lintels? It seems as if the only way to get FTG's to show up with the column tool is to pick Arch and Struct. drop down option and then deal with the shaft line that is placed around the structural shape. Otherwise the base (which is representing the FTG is not avail), unless I am missing something, which is prob. the case? Quote Link to comment
Jeffrey W Ouellette
Chris, Do you need the footings to be integral with the columns? What kind of footings are they? Can you post an image? Quote Link to comment
