farwest2
Hi, We have a number of grid bubbles that are very close together. How can we create a 45 degree angle in the grid line attached to the bubble so that they don't overlap? Also, I've never understood how the "path" and "profiles" work when you double click on the grid bubbles. None of our Vectorworks manuals explain this. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
It's on the wishlist farwest: http://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Board=12&Number=84229 Quote Link to comment
islandmon
Usually offsetting & scaling the Grid Bubbles up or down will resolve the overlap issues. See ' Extrude Along Path ' for descriptions of Paths & Profiles. Quote Link to comment
farwest2
So even in VW 2009 there's no way to create the common adjusted (45 degree) grid bubble that you see on virtually any set of plans for a commercial project? It just seems so obvious that this would be a useful feature.... Quote Link to comment
Ariel
Of course, there is. Just draw it manually. Seriously, I'm surprised some people actually use the grid bubble tool. NNA should take a long hard look at how other BIM apps implement it. Quote Link to comment
panta rhei
Actually, the whole concept of a grid bubble tool is fundamentally wrong. Quote Link to comment
