Vectorworks Help

We are a landscape design build firm in upstate NY an new Vectorworks users. We have been working through the program but it is evident we could use some one on one help or someone interested in working with us to dress up our drawings. By that I mean we input the two dimensional drawing and a third party inputs the contours, and puts the final touches on the drawing so to speak. Is there anyone using vectorworks in upstate NY who is open to the idea of showing us around the program? Or anyone in any region who would be interested in putting the final touches on our drawings until we get the hang of the program?

Having some problems with the wall join tool (using Vectorworks 2010). Walls autojoin, but often do not heal correctly. For example, when joining 2 walls with the 'L join mode', the walls join, but a line remains, as if one wall is butting another. This occurs whether walls caps are on or off. Fiddling with the walls sometimes but not always solves the problem: ie pulling the walls back from each other and then re-joining.

Any suggestions?
