Error when choosing destination location

i downloaded vectorworks 2008 for PCs, but when i run the installation, I get an error when it asks me to choose destination location. the default folder is "Eval", which gives me an error. and any folder i choose also gives me an error. the message is "please select an existing installation of Vectorworks 2008 Eval" can anyone tell me what the problem is? thanks so much.

As far as I know, there has never been a downloadable version of Vectorworks. The currently available version through all legitimate sources is VW2009.

You can get a 30 day trial version on CD/DVD by contacting sales@vectorworks.net.

I would also recommend doing a thorough scan of your system for viruses, trojans and spyware, since you appear to have a cracked copy of the program.

It sounds like you downloaded an updater, which will only update an existing Vectorworks installation. As Pat mentioned, you'll need to contact sales to obtain an Eval version.
